Life in Africa USA is a Washington based non-profit organization that supports community-based organizations, run by and for war-affected families in Uganda.

We support the belief that taking action is the best way for people to heal and become self-sufficient. This website was created to provide information on how you can take action, no matter where you live, to support the efforts of these organizations and communities in Uganda.

There are many projects currently underway in Uganda. The following are ones that Life in Africa USA is currently supporting through fund-raising efforts and by spreading awareness to the global community.

Sponsored by LiA Kireka, this program serves children, mostly orphans, living in the IDP camp know as the Acholi Quarters.

School fees are the number one worry for the children and the parents/guardians in poor areas of Uganda. Life in Africa Foundation -Uganda has established this program to assist poor children in obtaining an education in an effort to break the ties to poverty.

As a joint venture of Life in Africa Foundation – Uganda and LiA Kireka, there is hope that lives will be saved through the distribution of nets to protect against the infection of malaria.
